We are encouraged to stand for Truth and Righteousness. This blog hopes to provide quotes, and new perspectives on contemporary, controversial issues. This blog is not designed to be a chronological journal type blog. Each issue should be visible in the blog archive and by clicking on the topic you will see the comments that will hopefully provide you with a little bit of logical ammunition that may help you take a stand with a little more confidence.
*In the United States of America we are promised Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. Why do we then take the lives of innocent soon to be born babies and deny them the right to all of the above. If a child is born in the US to someone who is here illegally they become full fledged US citizens with all the rights of any other American. Don't the unborn Americans deserve their life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness we have ALL been promised.
ReplyDelete*Recently our daughter delivered our first grandchild. I was amazed at the security measures including a nurse guard, locked doors, and other procedures that protected the babies at the hospital. The mothers were not allowed to leave the hospital until they had completed a battery of educational classes to make sure they were mentally capable of caring for their new child. Yet.... a woman can walk into a clinic and dispose of her unborn child in the name of convenience and selfishness. Where are the guards and the doors and the education protecting those children? Why do we protect some and neglect others? Why do nurses rush around to save and we wipe a tear when we see one child struggling for breath in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and turn a blind eye when another child the same age is simply left to die in a medical trash receptacle. I honestly don't get it.
ReplyDeleteWhy would we allow and even pay for mothers to destroy the lives of others and not call that a criminal act? Why do we send our tax dollars across national borders to finance abortions in other countries? Does it somehow ease our guilt to know that we are not alone in this crime. Yes, these are hard words. Gentle promptings didn't cut it.
